Dinsmore Diversity Scholarship Program

Dinsmore values and promotes diversity in the workplace, the legal profession, and the communities where we work and live. We are pleased to offer this Diversity Scholarship Program in partnership with Lockheed Martin, Procter & Gamble, and Yum! Brands, Inc. to law students who are members of groups traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession and/or individuals who contribute meaningfully to diversity in their communities.

 

The recipient will have a salaried summer associate position at Dinsmore and will spend their summer associate experience with Lockheed Martin, Procter & Gamble, or Yum! Brands, Inc. They will also receive a scholarship of $10,000 and be assigned a dedicated mentor

 

ELIGIBILITY

To be awarded tje Dinsmore & Shohl LLP Diversity Scholarship, law students must meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be admitted or already attending an ABA-accredited law school as a first-year  law student.
• Applicant must have a record of academic or professional achievement.
• Applicant must display leadership qualities through past work experience, community involvement or student activities.
• Applicant may not accept a similar scholarship award from another law firm

 

SUMMER CLERKSHIP

The joint scholarship recipient will split their summer associate experience, spending six weeks in Dinsmore’s Cincinnati office and six weeks in the parternship company.

 

MENTORS
Dinsmore will assign an attorney mentor to the scholarship recipient to serve as a dedicated resource for professional development.
