Drug and Alcohol Abuse Assistance

Drug and alcohol abuse can be a serious problem among law students and lawyers.

If you wonder whether you could benefit from help in making healthy and responsible choices concerning use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco, please consider exploring the following resources:

UC Davis Resources

At the UC Davis Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs Intervention Services, students can meet with a professional staff person to discuss personal issues involving alcohol, tobacco or other drugs. The service is free of charge.

Law students can access the Safe Party Initiative for policies, laws, and advice on giving and attending safe parties and alcohol-free events.

If you would like to discuss these or other issues with the Senior Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, please contact the Dean's Office Assistant to schedule an appointment at (530) 752-0243.
