Student Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

Outside Employment (During the Academic Year)

Students should plan to devote substantially all of their time to their law studies and related activities. Students shall not undertake remunerative employment in excess of 20 hours a week. Regulations of the Faculty of the School of Law, University of California, Davis, Regulation 1.11.

Reciprocity Policy

UC Davis law students can request access to a career services office at a law school in another city. Career Services is pleased to maintain good reciprocity relationships with the career services offices of other University of California law schools. Most schools throughout the country will require a request for reciprocity to come through the student's career services office. Please contact Career Services at careerservices@law.ucdavis.edu regarding the reciprocity policy of the law school you would like to access and to request reciprocity request letters.

The reciprocity policies of most law schools nationwide are posted on the NALP website.

The Career Services Office provides resource access to students and alumni of NALP member schools and ABA accredited law schools. For further details, view our reciprocity policy.
