Statements on UC Davis Protest Incident
The King Hall community is shocked and saddened by the events occurring on the UC Davis Quad on Friday, November 18, 2011.
King Hall's faculty, staff, students, and alumni the world over have sent messages to the Law School administration. Thank you all for sharing your helpful thoughts, concerns, and ideas.
In the best tradition of our Law School, our faculty and students have conducted a town hall meeting to discuss the legal and policy matters raised by the incident and also its aftermath. We look forward to helping everyone in the campus community to understand their rights and duties, and to place issues arising as a result of the protests in a larger context.
It is of the utmost importance to everyone at King Hall that UC Davis remain a safe place for civil discourse among the entire campus community.
