Victorious National Mock Trial Team Advances to Nationals!
Two UC Davis teams successfully competed in the regional National Mock Trial Competition, hosted by Hastings College of the Law at the federal courthouse in San Francisco on February 16-17. Team members included Donmarc Dimaranan '09, Jeffrey Edwards '09, and Kathleen Rojas '08 and Nabil Bisharat '09, Krista Maher '08, and Jimmy McBirney '08. After winning in the preliminary round, the team of Bisharat, Maher, and McBirney advanced to the elimination rounds, where the team again prevailed. The victorious team will compete in the national championship tournament in Austin, Texas on March 27-29.
