UC Davis Law Students Awarded 2023 Stevens Public Interest Fellowships

The John Paul Stevens Foundation selected six UC Davis Law students as 2023 Fellows. Named for the late Supreme Court justice, the prestigious fellowship provides grants to enable law students to work in unpaid public interest summer law positions.
The selected students will work with governmental agencies or nonprofit organizations this summer:
- Perla Gonzalez-Cuellar ‘24 – Alameda County Public Defender's Office
- Tumaris Hone ’25 – Yolo County Public Defender's Office
- Alexandra Marsh ‘24 – Center for Justice and Accountability
- Abby Popenoe ’24 – Root & Rebound
- Seton Talty ’24 – Law Offices of the Public Defender of New Mexico
- Seth Tinkle ‘25 – Yolo County District Attorney’s Office
