UC Davis Law Hosts Global Migration Center Program on Refugee Integration
On Oct. 14, UC Davis School of Law hosted the Global Migration Center conference "Lessons Learned and Ways Forward for the Economics and Politics of Refugee Integration." The event focused on the flow of migrant refugees after the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The morning panels focused on the economics of migration. The afternoon centered on immigration law and policies, with Dean Kevin R. Johnson, Professors Raquel Aldana and Brian Soucek and law student Kari Peterson '23 participating.
The Aoki Center for Critical Race and Nation Studies co-sponsored the event.
