National Moot Court Competition Results

The National Moot Court Competition took place on Friday and Saturday, November 10 and 11, at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.  King Hall was admirably represented by two teams.  The team of Amy Geiser '07, Chad Mahalich '07 and Christine Young '07 competed through two rounds on Friday night.  The second team, of Ellie Gladstone '07, Chad Greeson '07 and Jack McKenna '07, continued on to the quarterfinals round on Saturday morning. Congratulations to both teams for their exceptionally hard work and great efforts.

The Law School and the teams would like to thank the team's coach, Tim Schooley.  Also, thanks to Professors Feeney, Mikos and Shestowsky for acting as mock judges prior to the competition.  Finally, thanks to UC Davis alumni Andrea Fazel '06 and Dave Warner '97 for their help as mock judges during practice rounds. Without all of their efforts, it would not have been possible.
