National Moot Court Competition
Two teams from King Hall participated in the National Moot Court Competition at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles on November 11 and 12. Jeff Finucane, Kaity Parish, and Suzanne Stevens competed in two rounds on Friday night, and Rachael Lamkin, Amy Lee, and Ryan Stephensen survived the Friday night rounds and participated in the quarterfinals.
The Law School and the teams thank the teams' coach, Tim Schooley, as well as Professors Bassett, Brownstein, Elmendorf, and Mikos for acting as mock judges in preparation for the competition. Thanks also go to UC Davis alumni Elijah Makus '04, Katy A. Bolls '04, and Melanie Sengupta '05 for their help as judges in practice rounds.
