Michelle Hugard '10, Jennifer Ward '10 Selected as Ms. JD Writers in Residence

Two UC Davis School of Law students have been selected as 2010 Writers in Residence for Ms. JD, a national nonprofit organization representing women in the legal profession.   Michelle Hugard '10 and Jennifer Ward '10, who were selected for the honor from a nationwide pool of applicants, will contribute monthly columns to the Ms. JD website and will be honored at the 2011 Ms. JD Conference in Los Angeles.  Hugard's column will be on the subject of "Deal Makers and Breakers: Profiling Female Powerhouses in Business and Media Law," while Ward will write on "Mommy Law: Perspectives from Law School and Beyond."
