Law Students Participate in Clean Slate Day

A number of School of Law students volunteered on April 12, 2008, during Clean Slate Day, helping people get their criminal records expunged. Andrew Houston, an advocate at Legal Services of Northern California, said about the students, "In addition to your enthusiasm, you all brought impressive skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work cooperatively with the clients, attorneys, and All of Us Or None members." All of Us Or None is a national organizing initiative of prisoners, former prisoners, and felons, to combat discrimination as a result of felony convictions.
