Law Students Attend ABA Meeting
Law Student Association (LSA) President Sarah Asplin '08 and Eric Toscano '09 attended the American Bar Association (ABA) Annual Meeting in San Francisco, August 9-12, 2007.
Asplin and Toscano attended the Law Student Division General Assembly and voted on resolutions and recommendations affecting law students and candidates for admission to the bar.
Asplin and Toscano also joined new UC Davis Law faculty member Courtney Joslin and Jeff Edwards '09 at the Allies for Justice Reception, sponsored by the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association and the ABA Section on Individual Rights and Responsibilities. San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and ABA President-elect Bill Neukom were honored at the reception.
The ABA has a membership of over 400,000. The Annual Meeting provides a forum for members to share their voice and vision with colleagues and fellow leaders.
