KQED and The 19th Interview Professor Harris About Britney Spears Conservatorship Issues

Professor Jasmine E. Harris spoke to San Francisco public radio station KQED and the nonprofit news site The 19th about Britney Spears after the singer's June 23 statement in her conservatorship hearing.

Harris appeared on KQED's Forum program. She spoke about the limits the conservatorship places on Spears’ rights, particularly reproductive rights. Listen to the KQED report.

Jasmine E. Harris is a professor of law and Martin Luther King Jr. Hall Research Scholar at UC Davis School of Law. Professor Harris is an expert in disability law, antidiscrimination law, and evidence. She is a law and equality scholar with a particular focus on disability. Professor Harris received her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A. (magna cum laude) from Dartmouth College.
