King Hall Students Excel in National Moot Court Competition

UC Davis School of Law students made an excellent showing at the west coast regional rounds of the National Moot Court Competition held at UC Hastings College of Law on November 13-14.    The team of Craig Baumgartner '10, Lov Goel '10, and Jeremiah Harvey '10 competed in the first two preliminary rounds, and the team of Victoria Hassid '10, Allison Kephart '10, and Kevin Viau '10 advanced to the quarter-finals.  Goel was honored as the Best Oral Advocate in the preliminary rounds. 

The teams were grateful to co-coaches, California International Center at King Hall Fellow Kate Doty '08 and Professor Tim Schooley, as well as Professors Floyd Feeney, Bill Hing, and Edward Imwinkelried, and King Hall alums Ali Hinga Nevitt '07 and Sarah Jane Fischer '07, for serving as practice judges as they trained for the for the competition.
