Erika Watts '18 Receives California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) Award

Erika Watts '18 received the California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) Award  at a ceremony hosted by CEB at King Hall on August 29. The award, which honors students at the beginning of their second year of study for the best brief submitted during their first year at UC Davis School of Law,  comes with a $5,000 scholarship provided by CEB, which offers educational programs for practicing lawyers and practice books that are used by lawyers throughout the state.

Each of King Hall's Legal Writing and Research instructors submitted a brief written by one of their students for consideration.  In addition to Watts, the nominees were Aviva Simon-Pottharst '18 and Rebecca Friedemann '18. The winner was chosen by Director of Academic Support Chris Ide-Don.

Present at the event to represent the CEB were Elle Segal, Outreach Manager, and Linda Russell, Director of Product Development.
