Emily Churg '08 Awarded Environmental Law Scholarship

Emily Churg '08 was awarded the Environmental Law Student Scholarship by the Sacramento County Bar Association Environmental Law Section. Churg has interned at numerous environmental nonprofit organizations, including Heal the Bay, Committee to Bridge the Gap, Environmental Defense, and the Natural Resources Defense Council. Upon graduation from law school, she will clerk for the Honorable James Otero of the U.S. District Court, Central District of CA. Churg plans to pursue a career in environmental justice.
