Class of 2007 Raises Record Amount with the Campaign Still Underway

The Class of 2007 has raised nearly $13,000 from 51% of the class as of May 10, 2007, with time still remaining in the campaign. The amount raised and number of students participating to date is well on target for the Class to meet their goal of raising $20,000 with 70% participation.

Pauline Woodman '07 and Carina Uraiqat '07 are the 2007 Class Gift Committee co-chairs. Woodman and Uraiqat wish to give special acknowledgment to the Class of 2006, who donated $800 in matching gifts for donations received at their Class Gift kick-off event held this past October.

The Class of 2005 organized the first-ever Graduating Class Gift, with 32% of the class contributing and raising $4,540. The Class of 2006 followed their predicessors with 52% of the Class contributing and raising over $12,000. Generous matching gift donors allowed these gifts to raise over $50,000 to benefit vital School priorities.

The dollars raised and the number of students participating in the Graduating Class Gift campaigns remains significantly higher than the annual alumni giving rates of all other class years.
