King Hall students Emilio Camacho '11, John Tan '10, Betty Duong '10, and Phillip Person '11 were profiled by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education magazine as part of a story on the impacts of rising fees on University of California students. The article, "A Cut Below," was published in the January 21 issue. Camacho and Tam appear on the issue's cover.
The students expressed satisfaction with their experience of King Hall, but voiced frustration with rising fees and the increasing levels of debt being forced upon them.
