Asha Jennings '09 and Rachel Anderson '09 Shine in Moot Court Competition

Asha Jennings '09 and Rachel Anderson '09 won Best Brief in the 2009 George Washington National Religious Freedom Moot Court Competition held February 6-7 at George Washington University Law School.  The UC Davis team ranked first in the preliminary and quarterfinal rounds of the competition, but was eliminated in the semifinal round.  However, Jennings and Anderson won the Best Brief award, and will have the honor of seeing their work published in an upcoming issue of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion.
