The H. Thomas Austern Writing Competition is intended to encourage law students interested in the areas of law affecting FDA-regulated industries: food, drugs, biologics, cosmetics, dietary supplements, medical devices, and tobacco.
1. Be of Iranian-American heritage
2. Be enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in an ABA accredited law school
3. Be in a position to accept the scholarship in the school year for which it is being awarded
4. Be a full time student
Selected Professions Fellowships are awarded to women who intend to pursue a full-time course of study at accredited U.S. institutions during the fellowship year in one of the designated degree programs where women’s participation traditionally has been low. Applicants must be U.S.
