UC Davis Law Announces Reynoso Academic Awards
The UC Davis Law faculty has unanimously approved the Reynoso Academic Awards to recognize law students with the highest grades in each class with more than 10 students. The awards are named after the late California Supreme Court Justice and UC Davis Law Professor Cruz Reynoso.
The Reynoso Academic Excellence Award will go to the student with the highest grade in the class. The Reynoso Academic Achievement Award honors the student with the second highest grade in the class. The awards will replace the Witkin award program that has been discontinued by Thomson Reuters.
Reynoso Academic Award recipients will receive transcript notations and certificates in honor of their achievements.
