UC Davis Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic Featured in Family Law Counselor
The UC Davis Family Protection and Legal Assistance drew media coverage in Family Law Counselor, a publication of the Sacramento Bar Association. The article, published in the publication's October 2015 issue, highlights the Clinic's role in providing an invaluable experiential learning experience for King Hall students as they offer direct representation to victims of domestic and sexual violence in Yolo County. Also mentioned is the Clinic's new collaboration with the Yolo County Family Law Facilitator's Office/Self-Help Center in providing assistance to pro per litigants filing a request for a domestic violence restraining order.
