Professor Behre Presents at DePaul College of Law Symposium

On Oct. 7, Professor Kelly Behre and Amelia Mindthoff of Iowa State University co-presented a paper at DePaul College of Law’s 2021 Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center Virtual Symposium: A Deep Dive into Domestic Violence. Behre’s session was titled “How Social Science Can Help Us Understand Why Family Courts May Discount Women's Testimony in Intimate Partner Violence Cases.” 

Professor Kelly Behre is the director of the UC Davis Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic. She has more than 20 years of experience working with victims of domestic and sexual violence, including directing clinics at West Virginia University College of Law and the University of Alabama School of Law.
