Dean Johnson Ends 20-Year Run as Legal Services of Northern California Board President
Dean Kevin R. Johnson has stepped down as president of Legal Services of Northern California’s board of directors after 20 years in that role and more than 25 years of service to LSNC and Capital Pro Bono.
“Kevin forged a critical partnership between LSNC/CPB and King Hall,” LSNC stated in its announcement. “He provided outstanding leadership to the organizations through many challenges and presided over the critical board restructuring process that concluded just last year. LSNC and CPB are grateful for Kevin's long and dedicated service and support.”
Bob Stalker, an LSNC board member and longtime managing attorney of the organization’s Solano County office, has assumed the role of LSNC board president.
Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
