Competing in the event will be Brett Kinney '10 and Kelly Van Aken '10 for the Petitioner, and Leslie Ang '10 and Jennifer Espanol '10 for the Respondent.  This year's panel of distinguished judges consists of Judge Rosemary Barkett of the U.S Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Justice Walter Carpeneti of the Alaska Supreme Court, and Judge Jerome Farris, Judge Susan Graber, Judge Kim Wardlaw, and Judge Mary Schroeder of U.S Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

The competition, which is open to the public, is the Law School's contribution to UC Davis' 95th Annual Picnic Day, a showcase for the richness and diversity of campus life and the City of Davis.
