Moria Delgado Receives Campus Award
Moira Delgado, admissions outreach coordinator, was selected to receive a campus Diversity and Principles of Community Award for 2007. The award honors Delgado for “her leadership and significant contributions to the campus community on an ongoing basis.”
Delgado is the coordinator of the King Hall Outreach Program (KHOP), which provides intensive law school preparation for undergraduate students with high academic potential from disadvantaged backgrounds. The program was established in 2001 with a class of eight participants, and now has over 40 alumni. Six former KHOP participants are now students at UC Davis Law School
Delgado will be recognized at a reception, and at the 15th annual celebration of the Principles of Community Event, "Soaring to New Heights," on April 17, 2007, at Freeborn Hall from 11:15-1:30 p.m.
