Lane and Hughes win Carr Competition

Congratulations go to 3Ls Megan Lane and Christopher Hughes for winning the final trial of this years Carr Competition!

Megan and Christopher were the plaintiff attorneys in a child custody dispute. Defense attorneys Meera Bhatt and Alison Brown (both 2Ls) came in a very close second.

The Honorable Kimberly A. Mueller, Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court, presided over the trial. Local trial litigator Arnold Wolf also evaluated the students performances. Christine Young (3L), Trial Practice Honors Board, was the pre-trial magistrate and overseer of the final trial. Local community members volunteered as the trial witnesses.

Faculty Sponsor Professor Albert Lin and Laurie Loving offer their thanks to everyone involved.
