King Hall Teams Vie in Trademark Moot Court Competition
Two UC Davis School of Law teams competed in the Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition on February 12 in San Francisco, facing off against moot court teams from law schools in the Western Region of the United States. Both Davis teams came prepared and fared well in the competition, but ultimately did not advance to the National Round in Washington D.C.
Krista Celentano '11 and Lauren Carden '11 worked together in the competition, as did Jan Roos '12, Collin Kilpatrick '12, and Kyle Wende '12. Both teams scored strongly and received excellent feedback from the competition judges and were recognized for their efforts at the post-competition reception.
The King Hall team members said thanks were due to those who helped them prepare, including Professors Kurt Kappes, Todd Noonan, Leslie Kurtz, and Angelo DeSantis '08, as well as California International Law Center at King Hall Fellow Kathleen Doty '08, and Scott Grzenczyk '11, who coached both teams and provided countless hours of feedback and guidance.
