King Hall Students Awarded ABAS Foundation Scholarships
Eight King Hall students were awarded scholarships by the Asian/Pacific Bar Association of Sacramento (ABAS) Foundation at the ABAS Scholarship Reception April 24 in Sacramento with Dean Kevin R. Johnson in attendance.
Awardees included Tiffany Fong '11, Eunie Kim '11, Janet Kim '10, Candace Lee '11, Esther Lee '11, Maryam Sayyed '10, Jennifer Shih '10, and Ngoc Le '11, who was honored with the Araki-Isenberg Scholarship. The students were recognized for their legal scholarship, dedication to public interest law, and commitment to diversity.
In addition to Dean Johnson, dignitaries in attendance included Charles Pacheco, Phil Isenberg, and Marilyn Araki-Isenberg, community leaders and scholarship sponsors, as well Chief Justice Arthur Scotland of the Third District Court of Appeal, and ABAS President Kathryn Doi.
