Family Protection Clinic On UCTV
The UC Davis School of Law's Family Protection Clinic is featured throughout May on State of Minds, a television program that explores the exciting developments, personalities, and pursuits that make UC one of the nation's finest research universities.
In addition to highlighting Davis law students who volunteer their legal services to victims of domestic violence, the show will feature UCSC ocean biologists who study the migration patterns of marine mammals, medical students from UC San Diego who spend their off hours operating free health clinics, and a profile of the new Blum Center for Developing Economies at UC Berkeley that will focus on eliminating global poverty.
The family clinic was also recently featured on Newswatch, a regular news segment on KVIE Channel 6, Northern Californias PBS station, that highlights the latest in UC Davis research, student life, and programs that impact the public.
