Elica Vafaie '11 to Speak at IGPS Conference

Elica Vafaie '11 will speak on "Universal Jurisdiction: Access to Justice for Guantánamo Detainees" at the Interdisciplinary Graduate and Professional Symposium held April 21-23 at the UC Davis Conference Center.

The Interdisciplinary Graduate and Professional Student Symposium (IGPS) is an opportunity for graduate and professional students to share their work with each other, the campus, and the wider community.  Vafai's presentation will examine the legal principal of universal jurisdiction in efforts to hold U.S. officials accountable for torture.
