Charles McClain '71 Pledges $100,000 Toward Veterans' Scholarship Fund
Charles McClain ’71 has pledged $100,000 toward the existing Solis-McClain Veterans Scholarship Fund.
The fund supports United States military veterans enrolled at UC Davis School of Law. It provides tuition assistance via awards and scholarships.
Before attending UC Davis Law, McClain served with distinction as an Army artillery officer during the Vietnam War. After graduation, he built a successful career in information security and executive banking. A passionate advocate for education, civic engagement and student support, McClain established the Solis-McClain Veterans Scholarship Fund with King Hall classmate and Marine Corps veteran Gary Solis ’71.
