Black Law Students Association to Host King Week Jan. 18-21
The UC Davis School of Law Black Law Students Association invites King Hall students, alumni, and the community to join in celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during King Week, January 18-21.
Events will include a lecture by Leonard M. Baynes, a Professor of Law and the inaugural Director of The Ronald H. Brown Center for Civil Rights and Economic Development at St. John's University School of Law, speaking on "Diversifying the Legal Profession" on January 18, an address from Judge Diana Becton, Presiding Judge of the Contra Costa County Superior Court, on January 19, and criminal defense attorney Keith Staten, on January 21. All lectures begin at noon in the Kalmanovitz Appellate Courtroom.
