Aida Macedo '11 Participates in NPR Discussion of Sotomayor
Aida Macedo '11 was one of three panelists in a discussion of Judge Sonia Sotomayor's historic appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court that aired on National Public Radio's Tell Me More program on August 10. The panel, which was composed of three young Latinas, discussed how they felt about Sotomayor's confirmation and what it meant to them as they entered the legal profession.
"I think for a lot of us Latina law students, it does bring a sense of empowerment to see the first Latina judge on the Supreme Court," Macedo said.
