Young '04 Joins Downey Brand
Kenrick Young '04 has joined Downey Brand Attorneys LLP as an associate. Young, who previously served as a law clerk to Judge Whitney Rimel of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California, will focus on bankruptcy litigation.
Prior to joining Downey Brand LLP, Young spent one year at the top Chapter 11, debtor-side bankruptcy boutique in Los Angeles and worked on diverse cases such as Stan Lee Media/ POW! Entertainment, SonicBlue, and Trigem.
His representations have included real estate developers, a construction sub-contractor, and technology firms.
He has achieved a variety of successes including stripping secured status on a number of allegedly secured claims and resolving claim litigation with the Internal Revenue Service, State of New York and Department of Labor.
