Year of the Advocates
UC Davis School of Law celebrated incredible success in this season of moot court competitions. After winning the regional competition in Los Angeles, the School of Law won best brief and finished in the top sixteen of nearly 200 teams in the National Moot Court Competition, one of the most prestigious moot court competitions. Internationally, the Law School advanced to compete with teams from the world over in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the largest moot court competition in the world. In other competitions, the School's moot court teams took honors in Immigration, Sexual Orientation, and the ABA National Appellate moot court competitions.
