UC Davis School of Law Prison Law Clinic to Receive Justice Award

The UC Davis School of Law Prison Law Clinic will receive the 2014 Vanguard Court Watch Justice Award in the category of "law school/university."   

Each year, the Vanguard Court Watch of Yolo County presents awards in six categories for individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to social justice in the area of judicial and legal reform. The awards will be presented at the organization's Fourth Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony in Davis on November 15. The event will include a keynote address by Orange County Deputy Public Defender Scott Sanders and a panel discussion of prosecutorial misconduct featuring Professor Gabriel "Jack" Chin.
