UC Davis AB 540 & Undocumented Student Center Featured on NPR's Latino USA
The UC Davis AB 540 & Undocumented Student Center was featured on the National Public Radio program Latino USA. The report outlined the challenges faced by the approximately 200 undocumented students at UC Davis and the ways in which their needs are being met by the new Center. As part of a groundbreaking partnership, the Center will work with the UC Davis School of Law Immigration Law Clinic to provide legal services for undocumented students and their families. Marcus Tang '14, the first AB 540 Post Graduate Legal Fellow, was interviewed about his experiences as a child of immigrant parents and his work at the Center.
