Professor Cooper to Receive Yolo Unity Group Advocacy Award

The Unity Bar of Yolo County will present the Group Advocacy Award to UC Davis School of Law's Immigration Law Clinic for its detention advocacy. Professor and Immigration Law Clinic Co-director Holly S. Cooper will accept the award on behalf of the clinic at the association's third gala in November.

Cooper has extensive litigation experience defending the rights of immigrants and is a nationally recognized expert on immigration detention issues and on the immigration consequences of criminal convictions.
