Suzanne Painter-Thorne '02 Promoted at Mercer School of Law

Suzanne D. Painter-Thorne '02 has been promoted to Associate Professor at Mercer University School of Law, where she has been a member of the faculty since 2006.  She teaches Legal Writing, Advanced Legal Writing, American Indian Law, and Introduction to Counseling, and is the author of numerous scholarly articles including "If You Build It, They Will Come: Preserving Tribal Sovereignty in the Face of Indian Casinos & the New Premium on Tribal Membership" in Lewis & Clark Law Review (forthcoming). She graduated Order of the Coif from King Hall, and is a former litigation associate of Orrick, Herrington, and Sutcliffe in Sacramento.
