Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour Speaks at University of Georgia

On April 18, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour served as an invited panelist to discuss a recent book, The Corporation as Technology: Re-Calibrating Corporate Governance for a Sustainable Future (OUP, 2022) published by Professor Christopher Bruner (UGA). The panel was hosted by the University of Georgia School of Law. Afsharipour discussed whether and how corporate governance can be marshaled to promote sustainability.

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law. Her scholarship has appeared in or is forthcoming in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the University of Chicago Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
