Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour Speaks at Conference in Rome

On Oct. 13, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour presented her book chapter “ESG and Board-Shareholder Engagement in M&A” at the Corporate Governance Conference held in Rome and organized by Assogestioni, Oxford University faculty of law and Bocconi University.

The chapter will appear in the forthcoming book Board-Shareholder Dialogue: Best Practices, Legal Constraints and Policy Options (Giovanni Strampelli and Luca Enriques, eds., 2023).

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
