Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour Participates in Penn Carey Law Panel

On April 3, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour participated in a University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School panel discussion organized around research, co-authored with Professor Matthew Jennejohn (BYU Law School), regarding the gender representation in the Delaware Court of Chancery. The event was sponsored by the Institute for Law and Economics (ILE) at Penn Carey Law and hosted at Young Conaway, one of Delaware's largest law firms.

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law. Her scholarship has appeared in or is forthcoming in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the University of Chicago Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
