Sarah J. Heidel ’00 Appointed as Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge

Sarah J. Heidel ’00 has been appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to a Los Angeles County Superior Court judgeship. Heidel has served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District of California since 2005. Prior to that, the was an associate at Sidley Austin from 2001 to 2005 and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ferdinand F. Fernandez at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from 2000 to 2001.
