San Diego Alumni Lunch Draws Impressive Turnout  

The UC Davis School of Law Alumni Lunch in San Diego on September 2 drew an impressive turnout including Dean Kevin R. Johnson, King Hall Alumni Association Board Member Michael van Horne '75, a partner with Hecht Solberg Robinson Goldberg & Bagley; Charles Bird '73, a partner at Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps; the Honorable Patricia Y. Cowett '72, recently retired from the Superior Court of California; her husband Charles Cowett '72, a partner with Best Best & Krieger, and more than dozen other alumni.

The event, organized primarily by van Horne and held at Rainwaters restaurant, featured an address from Dean Johnson, who focused on the progress of the King Hall Expansion and Renovation project and other news from the Law School. 

Attendees also included Robert Allenby '91, David Chasin '02, Jessica Chasin '01, Scott Goss '98, Michael Holmes '98, Valentine S. Hoy VIII '85, Johnny Tran '04, and Robert Rodriguez '02.
