Ryan Wells '08 appointed a Fresno Superior Court judge

Gov. Gavin Newsom has appointed Ryan I. Wells ’08 as a Fresno Superior Court judge.

Wells has served as a senior deputy district attorney for Fresno County since 2012. He served as a deputy district attorney for Contra Costa County from 2010-12 and was a legal editor at Lexis Nexis from 2009-10. Wells was a law clerk at the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in 2008. Wells fills a new position created in 2019. Wells is a Democrat.
