Ruben '77 Quoted in NY Times on Home Buyers Suing Agent

Joel Ruben '77 was quoted by The New York Times in an article on a home buyer suing their agent for misleading them on the value of the purchased home.

"Agents have a lot of fiduciary duties, but they don't make money unless they close the sale," said Ruben, a real estate lawyer in Manhattan Beach, Calif. "In an inflated market, there are built-in temptations to cut corners."
