Professors Elmendorf, Frank Write in S.F. Chronicle About Housing Impediments

In a Feb. 6 San Francisco Chronicle op-ed Professors Christopher Elmendorf and Rick Frank state that “We don’t have enough homes, and the homes we’re building are in the wrong places.” Elmendorf and Frank coauthored the opinion piece, headlined “Fake environmental reviews are killing good housing projects. Here's what California can do about it,” with SPUR state policy director Michael Lane.

Christopher S. Elmendorf is a UC Davis Law professor of law whose teaching and research interests include election law, administrative law, statutory interpretation, constitutional law, and property and natural resources law.

Richard M. Frank ’74 is a leader in the field of environmental law, Professor of Environmental Practice and the founding director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
