Professor Larson Delivers Several Book Talks

Professor Carlton F.W. Larson recently gave several virtual talks about his books On Treason: A Citizen’s Guide to the Law (Ecco/HarperCollins, 2020) and The Trials of Allegiance: Treason, Juries, and the American Revolution (Oxford University Press, 2019).

On Feb. 6, Larson spoke to the Friends of Mount Vernon Book Club about The Trials of Allegiance.

In February and March, Larson spoke about On Treason to Rotary Club branches in Corte Madera (Marin Sunrise Rotary Club), Sausalito, Half Moon Bay and Windsor.

On Treason and The Trials of Allegiance both were finalists for American Bar Association Silver Gavel Awards.

Carlton Larson's research interests focus on constitutional law and legal history, with a strong emphasis on the 18th century. He is one of the nation’s leading authorities on the law of treason.
