Professor Joslin Testifies in Support of Michigan Legislation
In November, Professor Courtney Joslin testified in support of Michigan legislation that would update the state’s parentage laws regarding children born through assisted reproduction and surrogacy.
People magazine wrote about the Michigan Family Protection Act package of bills, which were passed by the Michigan House and if approved by the Senate, would repeal the last criminal ban on surrogacy in the United States.
Professor Joslin is a scholar in the field of family and relationship recognition, with a particular focus on same-sex and non-marital couples.
